The Veteran Center is a connectedness platform designed to prototype pilot programs supported by Onward Ops. Onward Ops has established formal partnerships with the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, state, county, and local departments of veterans services, and a wide network of reputable charitable nonprofit organizations.

The tool has been designed for Onward Ops Community Integration Coordinators® at the state and local level. The objective is to test new initiatives that uphold our national commitment to those who have served. The Veteran Center develops and supports initiatives that promote veteran health, stability, and reintegration into society.

The Veteran Center will also test concepts in building community coalitions to be led by veterans. The mission is to team state and local government with charitable and social welfare organizations to support purpose-built community initiatives. Community projects play a vital role in fostering a sense of well-being and encouraging citizen engagement. The objective is to create opportunities for all residents to connect, contribute, and feel a sense of belonging, ultimately strengthening the social fabric of a community, town, or city.
