1. Family Life
The State-by-State Family Life program provides emergency support for families transitioning from military service. The first program was established as Texas Family Life supporting soldiers and families the enrolled through the U.S. Army Soldier for Life – ETS Sponsorship pilot program with III Armored Corps headquartered at Fort Cavazos, Texas.
Grants are made to qualified participants monthly through Veterans Onward VISA digital debit cards. Issues addressed include:
- food insecurity
- temporary housing
- local transportation
- interim child care

2. Veteran Commendation Card & Welcome Basket
Once a transitioning servicemember has selected a relocation destination, Veteran Commendation Card eligibility is established. On the last day of active military service, the Veteran Commendation Card (VCC) is sent to the new Veteran,
The VCC is a VISA Debit Card that can hold cash value, as well as localized discount and incentive purchase options. The Card also functions as a reward management system. Points can be earned prior to leaving active duty and converted to cash or incentivized purchases once the plastic card is issued and the servicemember (and their family) have left active duty.
3. Veterans Onward Card
The Veterans Onward Card has been designed to support community service. The Veterans Onward Partners platform collects and distributes funding for community projects. Veterans Onward Partners is led by Veterans Onward teams in support of licensed ETS Sponsorship Community Integration Coordinators.
4. The Onward Ops Foundation
The Onward Ops Foundation exists to provide the flexibility to direct funding where it is needed most. The Foundation Board of Directors can designate needed funds to any Onward Ops activity, ensuring that transitioning service members, Veterans, and their families and caregivers have access to a wide range of opportunities and resources.
5. The Travis Manion Foundation
The Travis Manion Foundation strives to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. We develop programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.
6. Team Red, White & Blue
Team RWB is a community of veterans, service members, military families, and supporters, united by teamwork, shared values, and a common goal. Team RWB helps veterans lead healthier lives through fitness events, training, and programs.
